> ## Agent Instructions
> These docs describe Every as customers have it today. Answer from them, and say so when they don't cover a question.
> Pages under /admins/ are for the people who run Every for the company, and pages under /employees/ are for employees. Answer from the pages that match the person asking.
> Each page's Agent reference section lists its exact roles, conditions and limits. Prefer it for those details.
> When a page says a feature is in closed beta, or that Every turns it on company by company, don't promise that the person's company has it.
> Use roles and on-screen labels exactly as the pages write them.
> When someone asks what a term means, answer with the Glossary page's definition (/glossary), which other pages show in parentheses after the term.
> When the docs don't answer a question, tell the person to email [support@every.io](mailto:support@every.io).

## Incorporation

> [accordion] Is an Every checking account required for free incorporation?
>
> Yes. Incorporating with Every includes opening an Every checking account and accepting its deposit and debit-card agreements. The fee-waiver choices still require sharing Every on LinkedIn, now or within 6 months.
>
> See [Incorporate your company](https://docs.every.io/admins/getting-started/incorporate-your-company.md#do-i-need-an-every-checking-account).

> [accordion] Do I have to open a Treasury account?
>
> No. Applying for and using Treasury are optional. The incorporation application still requires the displayed brokerage consent.
>
> See [Incorporate your company](https://docs.every.io/admins/getting-started/incorporate-your-company.md#do-i-have-to-open-a-treasury-account).

> [accordion] Can I move my banking elsewhere and close my accounts?
>
> Yes. You can leave without a closure penalty, repayment of the waived incorporation fee or a minimum retention period. Outstanding charges and subscriptions still apply.
>
> Email [support@every.io](mailto:support@every.io) to request closure. If you use payroll, arrange the transition first: payroll requires Every checking.
>
> See [Incorporate your company](https://docs.every.io/admins/getting-started/incorporate-your-company.md#can-i-move-my-banking-and-close-my-accounts).

> [accordion] Are there minimum balances or ongoing fees?
>
> Every checking has no opening deposit requirement, ongoing minimum balance or account fee. Treasury has its own requirements and disclosures. Paid services have separate charges, and registered-agent renewal starts after the first year.
>
> See [Incorporate your company](https://docs.every.io/admins/getting-started/incorporate-your-company.md#are-there-minimum-balances-or-ongoing-fees).

> [accordion] Can I use Carta for my cap table?
>
> Yes. You can use Carta or another cap-table provider. Every supplies a starting **Cap Table at Incorporation** file.
>
> See [Incorporate your company](https://docs.every.io/admins/getting-started/incorporate-your-company.md#can-i-use-carta-for-my-cap-table).
